A Chairperson is being sought by Corryn Biotechnologies as the company enters commercial launch. Corryn's cosmetic dermatology device, DermaWeave, is the product of a pivot away from an earlier medical device focus, and it launches in October with medispas and aesthetic dermatology clinics as the target market.
Responsibilities of the role include:
- Chairing board meetings
- Developing and setting strategy, and;
- Providing strategic guidance and mentorship to the founding team
Expected time commitment is around 2 to 3 days a month.
The company is based in the UK, with our COO based in Ohio, USA. meaning board meetings and a substantial amount of other business are conducted remotely. As such location is not critical for this role, provided timezones are manageable.
The ideal candidates will have experience founding or building a company from early stage to commercial success, should have an operating or founding history in beauty or aesthetics, and should carry a network extending into clinics and medispas. Board experience is also required.
