Our platform is a governed, vendor-agnostic decision platform that deploys inside any container and reads data with full auditability. It takes a business from what happened and why, to what will happen and what to do next. True, engineered, prescriptive AI infrastructure.
We built this company on one standard: every recommendation has to be defensible to a board. Now we're building the board itself. We're looking for a one of a kind Founding Chairperson to architect our governance from first principles, and to hold us to the very standard we sell.
This is not a ceremonial seat. We want a chair who has sat in and learned from the hard rooms: the down rounds, the pivots, the exits, and made the call.
🔑 The Role
You'll own the journey from founding team to enduring institution.
- Architecting the board from scratch: composition, cadence, committees and culture, designed for an AI-native company rather than inherited from a template
- Chairing with teeth: challenging the founders, sharpening strategy, and holding every major decision to boardroom-grade scrutiny
- Opening doors that matter: institutional investors, enterprise C-suites and world-class talent, ahead of and through our next raise
- Setting the governance standard for a company that sells governed AI. Our own boardroom should be the reference implementation.
This is stewardship at a very high standard. You define the how, and you nail it.
🧩 Who This Is For
- Chaired or served on boards of venture-backed technology companies through Series A and beyond
- Operated at the frontier: you do not need a tech background, but you understand AI, enterprise software and what it takes to scale a category-defining platform
- Fluent in the world our clients live in: AI assurance, ISO 27001, and the regulatory direction of travel for enterprise AI
- Networked where it counts: institutional capital, enterprise buyers and the UK tech ecosystem
- A challenger, not a figurehead. You ask the question the room is avoiding, and you make the founders better for it.
📍 Role Basics
- Non-executive, part-time (typically one to two days per month)
- Remote, with periodic in-person board meetings (UK)
- Competitive compensation with highly attractive equity options
